Install it and it runs.
Your data stays on your machine.

The Daedalus CRM desktop app ships the whole service with it — no database to install, nothing to configure. It creates the database on first launch and works offline. No sign-up needed to start.

Apple silicon only. No Intel Mac build yet
Read this before first launch

macOS will block it once. Allow it once and you're done.

The message “cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified” is expected — we haven't bought an Apple developer signature ($99/year). Allow it once and macOS stops asking.

Open the dmg and drag “Daedalus CRM” into Applications

Same as any other Mac app.

Double-click it — this is where macOS blocks it

Dismiss the dialog with “Done” or “OK”. Don't delete the app.

Allow it in System Settings
System SettingsPrivacy & Security scroll to Security“Daedalus CRM was blocked” Open Anyway

Confirm once more and it opens.

Since macOS 15, right-clicking the icon and choosing “Open” no longer works — the route above is the only one.
If it says “the app is damaged and should be moved to the Bin”, that's not a permissions problem — the download was probably incomplete. Download it again.

After installing

Everything lives in one folder.

Business data, cloud token and server logs are all under ~/Library/Application Support/DaedalusCRM/. Back it up by copying that folder; uninstall by deleting it. Nothing is uploaded.
